This is a shot taken from outside the crown of the Statue of Liberty on 7/1/09. Three days before it opens to the public after being closed since 911. The thing was swaying so much I thought I was back in the Navy.

In the BIG house

This is part of a project I just completed for Big Brothers, Big Sisters. It's part of a national campaign targeting the mentoring of kids of incarcerated parents. The photo was taken inside a women's prison in Nashville, TN. There was such a bad vibe coming out of that place that I couldn't check out fast enough.
