Snow Suite

I once again underestimated how much snow we were really going to get and left my wet suite hanging outside to use the next morning. Boy, was I wrong!

The Contessa

Modern digital cameras can do things that were unimaginable just a few short years ago. But they can't convert an idea into a great photograph. Visual story telling is what I do.

Big and Little Match

I traveled to Baltimore for an assignment for BBBS National. At a risk of sounding corny, it's great to see and feel the connection between the big/little match. It's often hard to believe that the individuals of the match were absolute strangers with totally different agendas before BBBS hooked them up. What a great organization! I really enjoy being part of it.

Ocean City Wedding

Once the ceremony is over and all the group and family shots are done, the newlyweds usually have a few quiet moments together before joining friends and family celebrating their special day.

MYOGA STUDIO, VENTNOR

Amy Stephanik of MYOGA in Ventnor demonstrates what goals can be attained through dedication and hard work. Amy's been a driving force in the yoga community for many years and her imaginative approach to teaching yoga inspired many to follow it's path including me.
You go Amy!

Steak & Chop House

Creating an image that is believable while making everything and everyone look better than reality is always the primary goal of "lifestyle" advertising photography. Take a look at that steak. It's like something out of the Flintstones and the chef seared it to perfection. These kind of pictures don't "just happen". Wardrobe, models, makeup, camera angle, composition, lighting and even the sense of the the conversation must be directed... by me.
Yeah, I guess I can be a control freak but that's what allows me to supply my clients with photographs that tell their story.

Oshi Sushi Restaurant

The chef's at Atlantic City's Oshi do a bang-up job creating edible works of art. I'm not a sushi lover but presentations like this could change my mind.

Atlantic City Rescue Mission

Atlantic City Rescue Mission is a great non-profit institution helping the disenfranchised folks in Atlantic County with training and a safe place to stay until they get back on their feet. It reaches out to men, women and families.
Photography has been so wonderful to me that I really enjoy giving back when I get the chance.

Backstage Dancers

Once again my assignment surprised me. As part of a three day shoot for Showboat in Atlantic City, I was challenged to shoot these dancers. Sure they're good looking and Patti did a great job with makeup, but what really impressed me was how these ladies could move.
Wowzer! Totally in-sync with each other and loving it.

Hope's pre Bat Mitzvah pictures

I really love working with kids. They're so honest and it so often comes through in the photograph.

St Catherine's

I once again volunteered to be part of an annual event called "creatathon". It's a bunch of creatives getting together under the leadership of Moorestown design firm, Hypnodesign. In 24 hours we create ads, web sites, brochures, etc. for non-profits in the Delaware Valley. They even have a printer on-board to supply finished pieces.
This year my assignment was St. Catherines Clinic in Germantown, PA. They offer free medical care and prescription drugs for people a little down on their luck.

after six

Shooting men's fashion has it's own set of challenges but with the right models and art direction can be a lot of fun. Weird thing is that a shaw collar tuxedo from 20 years ago looks pretty much the same as present day.

Borgata Wedding

I worked with a wonderful bride and groom at the Borgata in AC. Portraits can happen anywhere.

Mister Met

I spent an entire day shooting Mister Met, the mascot of the NY Mets. One of the coolest things about my profession is it's diversity. Every project has it's own set of challenges. One day I'm inside the Statue of Liberty, the next maybe a product shoot in my studio followed by a great wedding with really cool people. You never know!
